Pipefish and Eels of Bali

Ghost pipefish are always stunning tiny creatures to watch. They have so many shapes and colours. You can spend hours in one place, just watching them maneuver themselves in the water. They have so many different shapes and colours. The camouflage is so good, you could easily pass them by without noticing.

Critters, crabs and Shrimps of Bali

Although Bali is known for it’s soft and hard coral, it is also offers excellent muck diving.

The colourful Harlequin, Mantis shrimps are but a few of  a large variety of shrimps off the Bali coast. Many of the dives are shore dives and are easily assessable.

The Pedang Bai pier as well as the North Eastern area, where the wrecks are, has some excellent muck diving spots.

The video only covers a few of many interesting creatures living on the ocean floor all around Bali.

Tube Worms and Squirts of Bali

Tube worms and squirts have always been fascinating to me.

How all these little Christmas tree like structures can so suddenly disappear within a fraction of a second. They then gradually creep out again when no one is looking.
